My name is Adam, I am 21 years old and a polish student (3rd year) of Pharmacy Faculty in Uniwersytet Jagiellonski in Krakow.

I've been few times in Vienna and had an opportunity to live close to Schönebrunn, which I liked much! After studies I would like to work in Vienna as a pharmacist, that is why I thought I could come to you in next year (2008/2009) for a 1 year voyage with scholarship.

Could anyone help me and explain where should I write to in Austria?

i would write an email to mrs. Kopp brigitte.kopp@univie.ac.at . she is the head of a department and responsible for exchange students. but it might be easier to take part in the ERASMUS exchange program (i don't know if there is an agreement between your university and vienna's). if you want to do it on your own, you have to pay austrian study fee. and here everything is in german. nothing is in english!!!!

if you want to work as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy in Austria, you should contact the Austrian pharmacists' chamber (ÖAK) www.apotheker.or.at , which is responsible for the approval of your foreign licence as a pharmacist.

If you want tzo work in the university you could contact mrs koop see above. Information about scholarships could be obtained from www.stipendien.at .
